Bank Audi Winners of Social Economic Award 2014
H.E. Mr. Sejaan Azzi honoring Bank Audi, represented by Mrs. Hazmig Khoury, for the Social Main Streaming Category, for the "Be a Hero for a Day" Project.
Bank Audi is constantly striving to improve society’s wellbeing and give back to the community, a pilot Volunteer Program entitled “Be a Hero for a Day”, was launched to closely involve Bank Audi employees within our Community Development strategy and give them first-hand experience with working on relevant causes and issues that are salient in the community.
The Project was launched to closely involve Audi's employees in volunteering in causes and issues that are related to Rural Development, Youth Empowerment, Human Responsibility, Public Awareness and Social Mainstreaming, such as ASSABIL “Friends of Public Libraries”, AYADINA, S.O.S. , CCCL & ULYP.
Employees offer their time and talent to help the less fortunate, showing these that there is still good in this world and inspiring them to not feel bound by their particular circumstances and constraints.
